Check out the Wednesday Webinars as they provide ideas from other organizations that really helped me. We hadn't used the friend request feature which is awesome as it just made for happier kids.
I treat the support team as your personal consultants. Whenever I want to do something unusual I just call the 1-866-268-6863 number and explain what I'm trying to do. They always ask me questions about what I'm trying to do and give me pros and cons of the different options. And its FREE to do this!
I chose Count Me In because the website editing is flexible and under my control. Customer service has always been excellent and regardless of how great a product is, customer service can make or break your experience.
USYVL selected Count Me In because the fully integrated website and reporting features work very well for our national organization. We tried a large competitor but they didn’t have the functionality needed to support our growing organization.
Our top three reasons for choosing Count Me In were:
1. Familiarity with the system as we have used it for two years now and are going into our third year.
2. All of our baseball families are already in the system and we do not have to re-enter them.
3. Ease of use.
Rainier did not appear to be the cheapest but unlike the other companies we looked at they don't have any extra charges. With our previous online registration provider they nickled and dimed us with all sorts of extra charges they didn't expl;ain up front. There is no doubtin our mind that Rainier is absolutely the best value. Plus they provide many unique features we rely upon that provide a great experience for our participants and volunteers.
We chose Count Me In as it had all of the features we needed like a complete website, team builder, team pages and great email. The other guys don’t even have those features that we really needed.
Unlike the company we used before Count Me In doesn’t constantly spam our members and sell our emails to others. We own all of our own data which is the way it should be. We're still getting spammed by eteamz a couple of years after we stopped using them.
We had been a Count Me In customer and were wooed away to try Active. What a mistake! We came back as they actually charged us more for just online registration than Rainier did for all of their features. We didn’t appreciate that Rainier had 10 times the functionality of Active and it all works together. They also answer their phone and fix the issues we have.
The Rainier team are just friendly and easy to work with. If I don’t know how to do something I just call their toll free support line and they help me. The personal touch is why we use them.
As treasurer I insisted on Rainier as they don’t handle our money. They worked with ius to set-up our credit card account and our funds get sent directly into our bank account. We know that other online registration providers hold onto the money for weeks or months and that some clubs had lost money when some of them went bankrupt I was also able to get great reports easily in Excel.
We chose Rainier as they clearly understand what it’s like to be a volunteer based organization. We appreciated the features that made our jobs easier such as field scheduling, merchandise sales and tons of stuff for coaches. Coaches are critically important to us.
The Rainier team are committed to continuously improving their software and services. Over the years we’ve asked for many features that they talked to us about and then added. They don’t always get it right the first time but they are open to feedback and suggestions. That makes a big difference.
We have over 7000 kids in our club, run rec and select programs, fall and spring seasons and only Count Me In had the capabilities to deal with it all. Games and practices is a huge deal so publishing and emailing schedules and changes with a click or two is essential. We also appreciated the discounts we got due to our size.
New software release by Rainier Software, Inc. the same day they bought Count Me In. The new owners didn't waste any time and are pushing out a new software release tonight, the same day they acquired it. According to the release notes it primarily contains enhancements to existing features. It's great to see them return to new release as their software ROCKS!
Just learned that Rainier Software, Inc., unlike most online registration companies, doesn't hold credit card funds instead have them flow immediately and directly to the client. That's WAY better!
